I blame Yusuke for this, for the record. After doing Yusuke, I realize that something I kind of want to do is to take a shot at busts of a few of the other GX characters, particularly those accused of being clones or copy+pastes of other characters, either in GX or YGO proper.

The reason my mind immediately turned to Asuka, I think, is that my near and dear friend Batpig (possibly the biggest Asuka fan I know now that he's come out of the Duel Academy closet, the ONLY giant fan of Asuka and Judai I know who doesn't ship them, and beloved of my heart for writing fanfiction in which kicking in the skull of a zealot is likened to smashing watermelons except less wasteful) has frequently complained about the way that she's drawn. "She's supposed to be the Hot Chick On Campus," he'll say, "And I know it's true somewhere in there. But I really can't see it past the pointy hair and Kaiba clone." And I did this while on the phone with him, so, coincidence? I think not.

I have no idea if I've succeeded in my goal for this sketch, especially since before I fixed a few things she looked like the unholy fusion of Fubuki and a giraffe with a squashed orange stuffed in its shirt. However, I do think she looks pretty goddamned hot with a nose (didn't feel like doing the Animu Triangle). Also, that I need to practice drawing women again. A lot.

Like Yusuke, this may be further revised, inked, or colored, but barring commentary I may get on glaring OMG MUST FIX NOW errors I missed, I don't have any immediate plans to. So. . .done until further notice.
